Amazing neighbors

I have the most amazing neighbors. When I got home from the evacuation, the neighbors on the left of me had already cut down any dangerously hanging limbs in my yard, checked the damage, and were draining the excess water from my pool. They’ve been fantastic. Then, today, I was outside attempting to clean the pool and looked around and…

My fence is back up. All of it. I never even saw anyone doing it! So I go out into my front yard to walk over to their house to see if they did it and to thank them and…

Lo and behold, my whole damned lawn is mowed.

So when I went over, they said that yes, they had put the fence back up and that, oh, by the way, they had gone and gotten a new O-ring for my pool pump and put it on.

However, it was the neighbor on the *other* side of me who had mowed my lawn.

I am counting my blessings today. How wonderful.

You are truly blessed, but also clearly the kind of neighbour who inspires such kindness.

Okay, that’s a really big WOW! There are nice people in the world. I’m glad some of them live next door to you.

This was my ‘feel good’ story for the morning. Tell them they’ve restored someone’s faith in humanity.
