My daughter…
Published by Deanna Hoak October 22nd, 2004 in kidsIt is always amusing when you see your kids being shaped by their environment. Blaine is so clearly the daughter of a copy editor.
Today, she was telling me a story about some little girl in her class. Blaine was quite irate at this child’s poor manners. The story went this way:
“Mom, you would not believe what Megan did today. She wrote her name in a book! She wrote her name in a book, and she is not an author or an illustrator! She should know better.”
She ranted about it for quite a while and was completely perplexed at my ill-concealed laughter. :-)
