One-wheeled fun

Blaine turns six next month, and I just ordered her a unicycle for her birthday: http://www.unicycle.com/shopping/shopexd.asp?id=644. (She’s been asking for one.)
Isn’t it darling? She and I will match. :-) When I teach her to ride, I’ll post a pic of us both on our unicycles.

I just watched the test flight of the new Delta Four Heavy Rocket from my front porch.
Very cool. :)

This Cracks Me Up…

The change from Ohio to Florida is one I still haven’t acclimated to, apparently. My weather alert came on today, and I get the following “urgent winter weather message”:

Just to update

I’ve been taking time off: cleaning, organizing, writing a bit, refinishing my coffee table, playing with the kids. There hasn’t been anything I can report that I think anyone would be interested in on a day-to-day basis.
Today, though, I got Charles Coleman Finlay’s novel The Prodigal Troll in to copyedit! I’m excited about it. :-)
