Critical Mass
Published by Deanna Hoak July 6th, 2005 in blogI’ve been following this fascinating guy’s blog lately, and he has the most interesting observation today under the heading “Critical Mass is the Key to Success.” It’s a useful concept for anyone, and for writers in particular, I think.

Dear Deanna,
I’m blushing, in fact.
I’m just the sensitive type, I guess.
Thanks for reading.

It’s always fun to get a guy to blush. :-)
It’s nice to see you here!
Heh, a few years ago I heard someone say that they’d reached critical mass in terms of submissions - she’s pretty widely published now. Obviously there’s the crucial “talent” element involved, but it’s certainly a good thing to have as much out there as possible. Like Joe said, you’re just increasing the chances that someone’s going to bite. It’s a great concept.
