The only ones I've played all the way through are Summoner for the PS2 (which I hated initially and then loved once I got through the backstory and got my first extra character) and Fable for the X-box, which was pretty good, but a bit disappointing in that you don't get the best stuff in the game unless you choose to be evil. I prefer nonlinear games, too, but I can just lose myself in them and not accomplish the main goals. I loved Daggerfall that way. I played that game for...I don't know how many hours, and really wasn't too concerned about getting to the end. Its sequel, Morrowind, bored me really quickly, though. :-/ I like the interactivity of online games like World of Warcraft, but I dislike having to <i>commit</i> to playing a certain number of hours to go through dungeons and such--it's the biggest reason I'll be cancelling my WoW account.
