About
I'm a freelance copyeditor specializing in fantasy and science fiction. SF/F novels I have copyedited have been finalists for (and have sometimes won) the Hugo, Nebula, Arthur C. Clarke, Golden Spur, John W. Campbell Memorial, Quill, Locus, Philip K. Dick, British Science Fiction, British Fantasy, and World Fantasy awards. In 2007 I was short-listed for a World Fantasy Award for my copyediting.

Well- I agree! I’d be surprised if it showed any less! :)
Does this mean you will have no trouble getting a date to to the prom?
Waah, I’m not very popular. :(
On the other hand, I find it interesting that I know the most popular person on LiveJournal (that is, I don’t know her personally, but I’m aware of who she is. I have no idea who the other people near the top are).
Your information on the copyediting process and publishing presents a different view of the business that is very valuable to new writers. You also appear to be a nice person. Did the computer get fixed?

Yes, you are. And for good reason.
I haven’t traded it out with this backup yet, but it tests out to be running (though with only half its memory for now, until the bad RAM module is replaced.) I’ll be really glad if that’s the problem!
And thank you for the compliments. :-)
