“My brain” quiz

gakked from .

Your brain: 60% interpersonal, 80% visual, 140% verbal,
and 120% mathematical!
Congratulations on being 400% smart! Actually, on my test, everyone is. The above score breaks down what kind of thinking you most enjoy doing. A score above 100% means you use that kind of thinking more than average, and a score below 100% means you use it less. It says nothing about how good you are at any one, just how interested you are in each, relatively. A substantial difference in scores between two people means, conclusively, that they are different kinds of thinkers.

Matching Summary: Each of us has different tastes. Still, I offer the following advice, which I think is obvious:

  1. Don’t date someone if your interpersonal percentages differ by more than 80%.
  2. Don’t be friends with someone if your verbal percentages differ by more than 100%.
  3. Don’t have sex with someone if their math
    percentage
    is over 200%.

Our first two were identical, but I had 100% verbal and 160% mathematical. Interesting quiz!

  2. 2 maradydd

Uh-oh. 220% mathematical. No one’s supposed to have sex with me.

  3. 3 deannahoak

Heh. I’m skeptical on that bit. I bet the quiz was written by someone with lousy math skills. :-)

  4. 4 tiellan

I got 18/15/95/45. But some of the questions didn’t have the answers I was looking for. And it’s too early in the morning for quizzes. lol

  5. 5 tiellan

No wait! I got 60/60/200/80. I was looking at the wrong numbers. See? It’s too early in the morning for quizzes.

  6. 6 digitalred93

High math AND high verbal! I’ll bet you killed on the SATs. :-)

  7. 7 johnwrt1

My results were 60,120,80,140 - So why do I spend so much of my time reading and writing? The test says I am not interested in that. Well have a good memorial day.

Deanna it is your father, husband and many of the people in your life that we all owe the debt to. Remember the wonderful times that make the rest worthwhile.

    Thanks, John. I appreciate it.

  9. 9 saffster

I got: Your brain: 60% interpersonal, 120% visual, 140% verbal, and 80% mathematical.

  10. 10 saffster

Hmmm…140% verbal, is that why I got into trouble all the time at school for talking excessively? =P

  11. 11 merebrillante

bet the quiz was written by someone with lousy math skills.

Er, considering that no one can be more than 100% of anything, I’d say that’s a good bet.

  12. 12 deannahoak

    We’re supersaturated. ;-)

  13. 13 sksperry

I scored 120% Interpersonal, 140% Visual, 100% Verbal, and 40% Mathematical. (Okay, even though my math skills apparently suck, even I know that it works out to 30%, 35%, 25% and 10%.)

  14. 14 norilana

    Fun quiz!

I scored 120% interpersonal, 120% visual, 100% verbal, and 60% mathematical Yup, makes sense — I am an artist, a writer, and a math retard. ;-)

  15. 15 ghosh_writer

Followed the link and took the test. My results are:
    40% interpersonal, 80% visual, 120% verbal, and 160% mathematical!

Would you call it a trend that editors/copyeditors have a higher percentage on the verbal and mathematical areas? Is it a possibility that working on manuscripts sharpens these two and dulls the others specially the interpersonal skills?

  16. 16 deannahoak

I don’t think it dulls interpersonal skills. We’re probably more adept than many at absorbing information through the written word, though, and so we’re more likely to prefer that than having someone explain it to us.
