That was a terrific story about the little girl’s wish, though, wassn’t it? Would have been great to have been a part of that.

Thanks for sharing the superhero story…. that brought tears to my eyes.

My sympathies on missing your father. I think the first several years after my father died were hard on “special” days. Now I rarely notice those days, but I recently realized I’ve lived over half my life without him, which makes me melancholy.

Dads are wonderful and special people -- I helped mine realise one of his lifelong dreams today: I took him to see Concorde. Thank you for the linkage -- very teary here. A film that always makes me feel the same way is Finding Nemo. I'm sure your Dad lives on in your heart and memories, and that gives you both a gift this Father's Day. *gentle hugs*
