I don’t know why I look at Fox News. It’s just habit–I’m a news junkie and click on all the sites. This is one of the worst headline screw-ups I’ve seen, though.

Check out this headline: Memo Shows General Sought to Warn Bush Not to Say Pat Tillman Died From Friendly Fire.

The problem is evident in the second paragraph of the story: “In the memo sent to a superior officer seven days after Tillman’s death, Lt. Gen. Stanley McChrystal warned that the evidence strongly pointed to friendly fire and the nation’s leaders risked embarrassing themselves if they publicly said otherwise.”

Which would mean that the “Friendly” in that headline should read “Enemy.” The meaning’s a bit different then. :-P

I don’t know why you’d expect to find any actual news there…

I know, I know….It is interesting to compare and contrast their versions of stories with those of other sites, though.
