David Edelman’s Infoquake makes the Campbell short list

Campbell Memorial Award for Best Science Fiction Novel, which makes me hugely happy, since not only does the book deserve the nod, but I had the honor of copyediting it. That’s another to add to my sidebar. :-)
GalleyCat’s Ron Hogan ran an article yesterday on the drive to get me nominated for a World Fantasy professional award. :-)
I’ll be all smiles for months with this going on. :-)

So the bad thing about blogging, at least with me, is that if I go for a while without blogging, I start thinking that since it’s been so long, I’m going to have to post something really spectacular, or only something about publishing, since that’s what a lot of you folks come here for. And [...]
So it’s been a mystery to me what people were searching Google images for when they hit on various pictures in my blog. I finally figured out how to find the full link in my stats, though, and how to read it. Some of them are…creepy, but others are just hilarious.

Do any of y’all use Vonage? Do you find it slows down your Internet appreciably? Do you have any other problems with it? It looks like such a nice deal, especially with being able to call the UK for free….
