Ron Hogan picked up one of my blogs against Times for GalleyCat today and added his two cents. Ron, obviously, is made of awesome. :-)
I know most of us who work at home all year feel the same way, but damn I feel lonely when I get back from a con! I miss you all!!
I got home from WFC, caught up with the kids (Blaine got elected Treasurer at her school, which I think is amazing for a third-grader), caught up on sleep and e-mail and news and appointments, and am posting. :-) I had a great time. I didn’t win the award, but I am still unbelievably thrilled [...]

I'm a freelance copyeditor specializing in fantasy and science fiction. SF/F novels I have copyedited have been finalists for (and have sometimes won) the Hugo, Nebula, Arthur C. Clarke, Endeavour, Golden Spur, John W. Campbell Memorial, Quill, Locus, Philip K. Dick, British Science Fiction, British Fantasy, and World Fantasy awards. In 2007 I became the first and only copyeditor ever short-listed for a World Fantasy Award.
