Thankfully I live in a good climate for it, though. Today is the coldest it’s been here all year long–it’s 55°F–and I feel like I’m going to freeze to death. :-P
Real-time copyediting queries

I love it when I get to communicate with an author in real time during the copyediting process, because I think the back-and-forth helps clarify matters better than a simple query.
So, I was looking for the connector that the Xbox microphone plugs into today, and I feel compelled to wonder… Does everyone these days have a junk drawer that looks like this, or are we just waaaaaaay too technogeeky for our own good here? :-)
Wil McCarthy has a fun article up at Scifi.com this week. You guys might enjoy the portion entitled “Survival in a Parallel Universe.” It’s odd to think, though, that we rarely follow those eating rules in our regular diet. :-)
