When the Earth will end
Published by Deanna Hoak February 27th, 2008 in SFnal, blogHere’s a cool SFnal story (although it’s on Fox :-P): Scientists have predicted when the Earth will end.
The article includes the proposal that we can save ourselves by taming an asteroid to swing by the Earth every few thousand years, pushing us into a higher solar orbit. Nifty notion. :)

It would be unlikely that humans would come close to being around then, but perhaps our decendents? As terrible as we treat each other now, we are doing better than people did in the past, so perhaps there is some hope :-)
Nice to see you back on line.
Goddamit. When I turned down the chance to become an asteroid tamer, they didn’t tell me it was such a growth market!
