A squall’s a-comin’
Published by Deanna Hoak August 18th, 2008 in blogBlaine just started fourth grade today and loves it, but tomorrow the schools will be closed due to Fay.
We’re in the middle of Florida’s east coast; it won’t hit this side, but it does look like it might travel over.
We’re well situated with supplies here, and if an evacuation notice is sent out, we leave, even if it’s not mandatory. (It only makes sense to do this when you have small kids and are on an island.) I seriously doubt we’ll need to evacuate, but it is possible we’ll lose power sometime tomorrow. If you can’t get hold of me, I’m sure I’m still fine, though. ;-) You can always try my cell, too.
