The finalists for the 2009 Endeavour Award have been announced:

Anathem by Neal Stephenson
Ill Met in the Arena by Dave Duncan
Long Walks, Last Flights and Other Stories by Ken Scholes
Space Magic by David D. Levine
A World Too Near: Book Two of the Entire and the Rose by Kay Kenyon

David Levine’s a friend, I’ve copyedited another book by Ken Scholes, and I got to copyedit Kay Kenyon’s A World Too Near, which is up, so I have many congratulations to spread around! Grats, of course, to those I don’t know, as well.

Deanna I'm a freelance copyeditor specializing in fantasy and science fiction. SF/F novels I have copyedited have been finalists for (and have sometimes won) the Hugo, Nebula, Arthur C. Clarke, Endeavour, Golden Spur, John W. Campbell Memorial, Quill, Locus, Philip K. Dick, British Science Fiction, British Fantasy, and World Fantasy awards. In 2007 I became the first and only copyeditor ever short-listed for a World Fantasy Award.
