Bad Fiction

The Bulwer-Lytton (Bad) Fiction Contest results have been announced!

I keep meaning to enter this, but I always forget. The winner this year was pretty awful (as it is supposed to be), but I think that any random chapter from Atlanta Nights (of which I am the “proud” author of chapter 33) has worse. :-)

(For those recent readers of the blog, the story of how the abysmally terrible, so-bad-it’s-funny Atlanta Nights came into being (as a sting against Publish America) is here.)

  1. How cool! I got a copy of Atlanta Nights for my birthday, it has a place of shame next to my copy of “That book with the parachuting Sherpas”, you know the one.

Maybe I’ll have to schlep my copy around for author/perp signings :)

  2. Heh. Yeah, I’d love to get my copy signed too. :-)

I’m planning on going to World Fantasy this year! If you’re there, I’ll be very excited to have my first “signing.” :-D

  3. I groaned so loudly over the runner-up that Patrick thought there was something actually wrong with me!
